A Day On The Bog near Knock
Once upon a time on a Radio Show in the West of Ireland a presenter confessed to his listeners that he had never been to the bog, and so it began.....he was flooded with offers from people looking for a hand out in their bog- from all over the west and northwest. And the perfect bog was found-Kilgarave west near Knock. On Sunday 8th August 1993, 25,000 people turned up for this unique event, the first ever of it's kind held on an Irish Bog . Top entertainers from all over Ireland performed. there was singing ,Dancing and great Craic. This video records the events of the day
